New twist to Hotel Stureplan, Stockholm, Sweden
Sweden has delivered a wealth of exciting design projects recently for HC Photography to get our teeth into. Hotel Stureplan, located in the heart of Stockholm is one such example.
Since the 1980’s there has been an injection of funding for renovations in the Stureplan district. This has led to an influx of corporate HQ’s, exclusive fashion boutiques and award winning restaurants all creating a playground for young business executives’s and the affluent upper classes of Stockholm.
So after a hard day of work and a long evening of partying a suitably salubrious hotel is required. Link Arkitektur Sweden have completed the elegant renovation of two adjoining 19th century buildings. The integration of contemporary features blended with the traditional history and aesthetic of the the hotel was critical. We feel image 2 represents this philosophy beautifully.
