Magical light on the mountains of Finse!

We can’t stay away from Finse for long. There is a magical mountain plateau nestled on the railway between Oslo and Bergen at 1222m above sea level, we are enticed back every year.

What’s so exciting about Finse you might ask? Peace, tranquility, incredible lighting, dramatic scenery and the constantly changing weather are a few of the reasons we are drawn back. As city life begins to feel like hard work, there’s no better place to recharge the batteries, stick some skis on and grab the camera! Just don’t forget your thermals as temperatures drop to around -20C in January!
