During our photographic commission to document the 15th Architecture Biennale, we produced a short film. It consists of dramatic drone footage over Venice to set the scene and some exciting time lapse moments in the Biennale. All of the content has been generated by us and then edited in house.
Our clients are always looking for new methods of communicating their design ideas, this is our latest response. Utilising DSLR filming techniques and the latest portable drone equipment we are capable of producing refined cinematic films at a fraction of the cost charged by traditional production companies. We hope you enjoy the results.
This is Ben Adams Architects latest office renovation in the city of London. They have effectively experimented with some tactile wood panelling in the reception area to welcome guests into the building. The undulating organic ceiling creates a wave experience generating subtle height differences across the room.
Having collaborated with Schiwago Films in Berlin, Germany last year, we were proud to see the film premier with our image on the main poster last week. We spent an exciting week onset in Berlin last year during filming to shoot a series of film stills for Schiwago’s marketing.
In Therapy: Nordic Countries Face to Face exhibition at the Nordic Pavilion, Venice Architecture Biennale 2016
We were very excited to see a selection of five of our images presented at the Nordic Pavilion. As the temperatures begin to rise in Italy the design and architecture world turn their eyes and critical analysis to the Venice Biennale 2016. The official press opening at the Nordic pavilion attracted significant attention and the crowds gathered to hear the curator David Basulto, co-founder, CEO and Editor-in-Chief of ArchDaily introduce the exciting concept of ‘acknowledging the presence of the ghosts of Nordic architecture’.
The step pyramid, built using traditional construction techniques from Swedish Pine, provides a visually stimulating and engaging environment. As the pavilion flooded with curious visitors, the dynamic interaction with the space was fascinating to witness. Adults climbed up the slated pyramid into the rafters of celebrated architect Sverre Fehn’s sublime Nordic pavilion. Children enthusiastically run up and down the steps collecting images for their little bags given away at the show. These steps then provided an auditorium for the critical debate of Nordic architecture.

This is a fun new school just outside of Oslo we photographed. The children really enjoyed getting involved, we think it brings so much more life to the images! They especially loved seeing the drone in action, we were over run with assistants.
